I'm watching an episode of Waking the Dead (episode False Flag) that Frances de la Tour played in and at first I thought it was Olivia Coleman. Then I realized the actress looked older then Coleman and I thought for sure they must be mother/daughter. Further checking revealed they are no relation but they definitely look alike!
I've just shown the other half some Rising Damp and just realised how alike their physical acting is. I looked up to see if anyone else thought so and ended up here!
Interesting that both came to fame as a ditzy love interest of a male anti-hero character (in Rising Damp and Peep Show respectively). They have a certain kind of face that is attractive without being beautiful in the conventional way.
9 times out of ten, when I check an actress's bio on the IMDB, there are posts saying "Looks Like..." and names another actress. This blog will show photos back to back and let you decide.
I'm watching Our Miss Fred and noticed that Frances de la Tour and Olivia Colman look similar and obviously I am not the only one!

ReplyDeleteI’m there too. Watching the 1985 movie “Murder with Mirrors”. At the time Frances looks so much like Olivia lately.
